We build software to support UAMS’s clinical, academic and research missions with customized,
economical solutions that vendors cannot fulfill.
Development Systems
We build, upgrade and support custom applications and systems that grow and change with UAMS’s needs.
We also create robotic process automation bots that do repetitive tasks efficiently, freeing up time
for people to be productive in other ways.

Custom Development
We work with users from academic, clinical and enterprise areas across UAMS to define
requirements for applications that meet very specific business needs. That means we
can save UAMS money and fit our users’ needs better by building software in-house. We
can also develop applications as new needs and uses for them evolve.
In addition to maintaining 400+ custom applications, we support implementations of new
enterprise software by building interfaces between it and our custom applications. For
example, we interface data with Epic, Workday, Bank of America, UKG Pro Workforce
Management (formerly Kronos) and many others.
Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
Our RPA work represents an enormous opportunity for UAMS to save money and make better
use of people’s time. Our RPAs harness technology to automate repetitive, rule-based
tasks within business processes. These processes mimic how people interact with
applications and systems.
By streamlining operations with RPAs, we help UAMS reduce costs and free up employees to do
more strategic work, increasing productivity. For example, "The Professional Claims department realizes $75,000
in annual efficiencies through robotic process automation."
