The vast scope of our work in Information Technology touches every employee, patient and student at UAMS in some way because we are responsible for all aspects of information technology at UAMS. Our responsibilities include:
- Providing front-line support for all IT needs, questions and problems through our IT Helpdesk and IT Workstation Support, with services delivered virtually or in person as needed
- Setting up and maintaining the UAMS network, computers, servers, storage and backup devices and software for our Clinical, Research and Academic missions
- Launching and maintaining systems that are critical for patient care and operations across the institution, such as Epic, Workday and ServiceNow
- Storing and protecting information and securing the UAMS network and other IT assets
- Building custom applications and business intelligence dashboards and reports designed to meet specific needs across UAMS and the communities we serve
