IT Asset Management
IT Asset Management

IT Asset Management evaluates computers and computer peripherals and creates proposals and quotes for them. In addition, we procure and distribute Vocera devices, cell phones and pagers. We also manage software requests and Imprivata enrollments.

To request computers or accessories, use these forms in ServiceNow:

  • Request a New Computer
  • Request Computer Accessories

For all software requests, use our Request Approval to Purchase Software form.

For all other requests, please call the IT Help Desk at (501) 686-8555 or email helpdesk@uams.edu.

IT Help Desk

The IT Help Desk is the first point of contact for students, faculty, staff and patients who need help or information about computer-related issues. We respond to requests for help 24 x 7, every day of the year.

How to Request Our Services 24 x 7

  • Submit a ServiceNow Report a Problem form.
  • Click this chat icon when you’re in the ServiceNow Employee Center for live virtual support.

IT Workstation Support

The IT Workstation Support team, sometimes called Onsite Support, is the face of IT at UAMS. We’re the team you see in person, and our goal is to keep your technology running seamlessly so you can focus on your work.

We support a wide range of equipment, including computers, laptops, mobile devices and their associated peripherals. Our services include:

  • Hardware and software installation
  • Troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Minimizing disruptions to your daily work
