We manage Workday, our enterprise resource planning system, and UKG, our scheduling and timekeeping system, to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.

We optimize Workday’s workflows and provide support, troubleshooting and training. We also help and guide users of the UKG Pro Workforce Management (formerly Kronos) system.

How to Request Our Services 24 x 7
  • Call the IT Help Desk at (501) 686-8555 or email helpdesk@uams.edu.
  • Submit a ServiceNow Report a Problem form.
  • Click this chat icon when you’re in the ServiceNow Employee Center for live virtual support.
  • Submit a Workday Security Role Request form to determine what you can see and do in Workday
UKG Pro Workforce Management Support
UKG Pro Workforce Management Support

To help users of the UKG Pro Workforce Management (formerly Kronos) system, our UKG team:

  • Troubleshoots system issues
  • Answers questions about system functionality
  • Provides support for timekeeping, scheduling, attendance tracking and other tasks
  • Works on security roles so users gain the correct access to UKG according to their needs and jobs

UAMS Clinical Computer Training offers online training for all employees, schedulers, managers and timekeepers. Courses include:

Our Workday team optimizes workflows in Workday for peak efficiency and is the first line of support for all Workday users. We handle ongoing support, troubleshooting and training. We:

  • Work on security roles so users gain the correct access to Workday, depending on their needs and jobs
  • Provide trainers and develop Workday training courses
  • Create and support workflows for specific departments
  • Develop and test new tasks, workflows and Workday reports
  • Escalate any issues we can’t handle to the UA Systems Office

Our group also operates a Workday Community team on Microsoft Teams that offers channels for announcements, questions and discussions on various channels. For example, you can find announcements that apply to many Workday users on the General channels. Others focus on reports, finance, supply chain management and so forth.

  1. Select the blue Teams symbol on the left side of the window.
  2. Click Join or create team and select Join team.
  3. In the Type to search box, start typing Workday Community.
  4. Put your cursor on the Workday Community panel and click Join Team. Now you’ll find Workday Community when you click the blue Teams symbol.

After joining the Workday Community, you can select which channels to participate in. Click the three dots to the far right of a channel, click Channel notifications and click All activity to stay updated so you can view and join conversations.
