Dr. Bissada had 5 years of residency training in
General
surgery. Subsequently, he finished urology residency at the University of North Carolina in 1973.
He is a board certified urologist since 1975. He is a fellow of the American College
of Surgeons and is a member of numerous urological associations.
Dr. Bissada has extensive expertise in reconstructive urology, urinary diversion and endoscopic urology. He has operated
and conducted many teaching courses in 5 continents.
He has lectured and published extensively in the areas of reconstructive, endoscopic urology, and urinary diversion in adults and children. His operations and techniques are practiced by many urologists in the US and abroad. His current interests include reconstructive urology, adrenal and prostate surgery, urinary diversions, endoscopic urology and urinary fistula repairs. |
