LITTLE ROCK – Computer classes for people ages 50 and older are being held monthly at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging.

Classes for February are:

• Introduction to Computers, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
• Photo Editing, Tuesdays and Thursday, Noon – 2 p.m.

Classes are in Room 1155 at the Institute on Aging, 629 Jack Stephens Dr., Little Rock. The cost is $40 per month for individuals and $65 a month for couples. An optional textbook is $15. The types of classes vary monthly and include lessons on the Internet, word processing, genealogy and spreadsheets. Each class is two hours and is held twice a week. Times and days of the classes also vary month to month, and no classes are held in December. For more information and to register for a class, call 501-603-1262.

Other classes include: Introduction to Computers, Exploring Windows XP, File Management, Graphics, Database and Quicken. The program is administered by the SeniorNet Program, a nonprofit volunteer group.
