Head and Neck Surgeon Richter Joins UAMS

LITTLE ROCK – Gresham T. Richter, M.D., who specializes in pediatric otolaryngology and common head and neck disorders in children, has joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.

 

Richter, an assistant professor, is based full time at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, whose doctors are employed by UAMS. His particular clinical and research interests include pediatric airway anomalies, chronic ear disease, hearing loss, hemangiomas and vascular malformations.

 

Richter completed a two-year fellowship at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center Department of Pediatric Otolaryngology in Ohio. He also completed an internship at UAMS’ General Surgery Department and residency at UAMS’ Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He has received numerous awards for his service and research.
