Free Varicose Vein Screenings to be Held Oct. 18 at UAMS |

LITTLE ROCK – Free screenings for varicose veins will be held by appointment from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Oct. 18 at the The screenings will be held in the Surgery Clinic on the fourth floor of the Nearly 55 percent of American women and 45 percent of men suffer from some form of vein problem. Common symptoms of varicose veins include aching pain, tired or swollen legs, darkening of the skin, numbness or irritated rash in the legs. If diagnosed, there are several modern, less-invasive treatments available for varicose veins.
