LITTLE ROCK – Several sports medicine experts from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) highlight the roster for a free informative session for players, coaches and the general public.

The Sports Medicine Symposium will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 6 at the Sam Walton Auditorium on the 10^th floor of the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute.

Free parking will be available in the UAMS outpatient parking deck at the corner of West Capital Avenue (5th street) and Cedar Street. Light refreshments will also be provided. Seating is limited, so reserve your spot by calling 501-686-8181.

Unfortunately, sports injuries are part of the game. If you have a sports injury, are a coach, or if you’re simply interested in learning about the latest treatments available, attending this informative session will have you at the top of your game. In addition to hearing from some of the sports medicine field’s top speakers, there will be several exhibits from medical suppliers.
