LITTLE ROCK – The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Pharmacy will hold Summer Camp 2007 for high school students June 17-22. Participants will be introduced to career opportunities in pharmacy and pharmacy education at UAMS.
The camp will provide hands-on training in pharmacy practice skills, lectures by college faculty and area pharmacists and field trips to pharmacies. Also, social and cultural activities will be offered. Camp tuition is $375 and includes housing in the UAMS residence hall, all meals, camp instruction materials, laboratory exercise supplies, and field trip transportation expenses.
