UAMS to Offer Free Prostate Cancer Screenings Sept. 23
LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas Cancer Research Center (ACRC) of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is offering free prostate cancer screenings 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Sept. 23 on the sixth floor of the ACRC on the UAMS campus.
All men ages 50-75 are eligible for the free screenings. African-American men and those with a family history of prostate cancer are eligible beginning at age 40.
UAMS is the state’s only comprehensive academic health center, with five colleges, a graduate school, a medical center, five centers of excellence and a statewide network of regional centers.
