Your UAMS ID badge may fail to release a magnetically locked door for one of two reasons:

Your badge may not be coded for access.
If you swipe your badge through the reader and the indicator light alternates between green and red, your badge needs to be properly coded.
Please have your supervisor contact Leslie Gann, director of the UAMS Security Division, at 686-6879.

Your badge may be damaged.
If you swipe your badge through the reader and the indicator light remains steady green, the magnetic strip has been physically damaged. Please contact Creative Services at 686-5570 to obtain a new badge.
