MOUNTAIN HOME – Sarkis M. Nazarian, M.D., an associate professor of neurology and ophthalmology in the College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, will discuss acute detoxification of alcohol-dependent patients at noon Wednesday, April 21, at Baxter Regional Medical Center, 624 Hospital Dr. The lecture will be for medical professionals only. He completed an internal medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals in Houston and a neurology residency at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn. He served a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at Willis Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.
