It takes only a couple of minutes. http://www.uams.edu/update/absolutenm/anmviewer.asp?a=1208&z=47

In 2003, UAMS decided to standardize the look and feel of the external UAMS.EDU web site to create a more unified branding appearance for our external audiences. To realize this goal, the Office of Communications & Marketing, working with Creative Services, has developed a standard template to be used for UAMS.EDU and the associated consumer-accessed sites and secondary pages.

Many people have questions about which websites must adhere to this policy. If your website is publicly accessible on UAMS.edu and is available to the general public, this applies to you. Examples of site names that would need to convert include the following:

www.uams.edu/departmentname www.departmentname.uams.edu http://departmentname.uams.edu www.college.uams.edu

Websites for ACRC, Jones Eye Institute, Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy, and the Reynolds Center on Aging may continue with their existing design, with an understanding that future design changes must move the sites toward compliance. All other external websites should prepare to convert.

Intranet websites may choose to use the UAMS.edu template design or the Intranet.UAMS.edu template design.

Contact Creative Services for the Template Files and Training:

In an effort to more effectively roll out the template files, Creative Services will set up initial pages for your site in the template. Please contact Shane Tripcony to schedule an appointment to discuss having your site converted over to the new template. Call Shane at 603-1263 or contact by email by using the form at this address:

http://mediaservices.uams.edu/Webform.asp

If contacting by email, please include your billing account number to start a project. If contacting Shane by phone, please have your billing account number available to open a new project with Creative Services. An account number must be registered with Creative Services prior to them starting work on your site. Creative Services can also provide personal training and more comprehensive website redesign service as needed.

The standard template will be used for all consumer-accessed pages on the UAMS Internet. Our target date to migrate all Internet sites to the new template design is June 30, 2004.
