Diana Lynn Woods, Ph.D., is the first John A. Hartford Foundation scholar to join the College of Nursing at UAMS. As the first post-doctoral scholar in the college, she will conduct research funded by the foundation, which recently established a Geriatric Center for Nursing Excellence (GCNE) at UAMS with funds from an earlier grant.

DEC. 20, 2001 | The Speaker of the Arkansas House of Representatives and two other legislators met Monday with Chancellor I. Dodd Wilson, M.D., and the two new deans at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS).
Speaker Shane Broadway (Benton), Rep. Mike Creekmore (Hensley), and Sen. Percey Malone (Arkadelphia) visited the campus for a luncheon with Chancellor Wilson and the deans of medicine and public health.
