OCT. 24, 2001 | The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) hosted the directors of Simmons First National Bank of Pine Bluff Mon., Oct. 22.
The bank’s board of directors met on the UAMS campus and then had lunch with UAMS Chancellor I. Dodd Wilson, M.D. The bank directors finished their visit with a tour of the Arkansas Cancer Research Center and the Donald W. Reynolds Center on Aging at UAMS.
J. Thomas May is chairman and chief executive officer of the bank. He also is a trustee of the University of Arkansas System, of which UAMS is one campus.
