WHAT’S NEW In WebChart?                                           June 2004

 

WebChart Banner

1. Retrieval options are listed in the banner, but retrievals are grouped by category.  A mouse-over on a category causes a dropdown list to appear with all available retrieval options. 

 

2. New Categories are:

    Lab/Path/Mic showing:           a) Verified Laboratory results,

b) Microbiology, and

c) Pathology including revisions and supplemental reports.

 

    Radiology having:                   a) Preliminary and Verified radiology results and

b) Radiology OSCAR requisitions.

 

    Patient having:                       a) Appointment history,

b) Scheduled appointments, and

c) Diagnosis codes.

 

3. Densitometry, Transcription, ABG, and EKG remain the same.  

 

4. Other is no longer needed and has been removed.

 

LAB

1. Lab retrievals default to a 3 month retrieval listing.  The date range can be modified by type-in or selecting start and end ranges from the calendar buttons.

 

2. Users can search by:             Date range,

                                                All Dates

Specific test(s),

   OR a combination of selected dates and test(s). 

 

The applied look-up criteria are listed at the top of results listings.   

 

3. Lab orders status is now clarified on the orders listing.  If a specimen is in the lab but not resulted, "in-lab" will show next to the order.

 

4. An "Example*" button demonstrates how multiple test types can be entered.

 

5. A "Test(s) Lookups" button allows searches for specific test(s).  One or more selections may be made using Laboratory test codes or test descriptions.  Click the selection(s), close the lookup window, then click the “Search” button

   

6. Holding a mouse over a Lab orders code, will show the test description as defined by the Laboratory system.

 

7. "First", "Previous", and "Next" buttons show at the bottom of orders listing when multiple orders pages are retrieved.
