LITTLE ROCK – People of all ages are invited to register for the Seventh Annual Village Walk for Cancer Research set for Sept. 13 in Hot Springs Village. One hundred percent of proceeds from the walk will benefit the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and will be matched dollar for dollar by the state of Arkansas.

UAMS and the Arkansas Travelers are teaming up to take you out to the ballgame four times this summer with “UAMS nights” at Ray Winder Field.
The first date is Tuesday, May 27, as the second place team in the Texas League’s Eastern Division takes on the Wichita Wranglers in a 7:10 game.
“Root, root, root for the Travelers” with free tickets – courtesy of the Good Neighbor Committee of the UAMS House of Delegates! Pick up as many tickets as you need at the Human Resources Office in the Annex on campus, or the Westmark Office Building, room 111. The tickets are for general admission grandstand seating. UAMS employees should enter Ray Winder Field through gate 2.
The other UAMS nights are Thursday, June 19; Tuesday, July 15; and Monday, Aug. 11.
