NOV. 20, 2001 | The seventh annual Aromatique™ sale at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) was once again a popular fundraiser on campus.
Hundreds of employees crowded Jeff Banks Student Union to stock up on the company’s popular potpourri, candles, and other decorative items. Aromatique™, a Heber Springs, Ark., company, donates merchandise to UAMS each year for sale at a discount by University Hospital Auxiliary. The auxiliary gives proceeds of the sale to projects in the hospital.
The auxiliary will hold another sale of Aromatique™ products in the spring.
Patricia and Richard Upton are owners and founders of Aromatique™. Mr. Upton is president of the UAMS Foundation Fund Board.
Aromatique™ donations to the auxiliary have had a cumulative value of $485,216. |
