LITTLE ROCK – More than 140 stores in the Little Rock/North Little Rock Metro area will offer discounts on their merchandise Oct. 29 through Nov. 6 for the second annual Partners Card fund raiser to benefit the Arkansas Cancer Research Center (ACRC) Auxiliary at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS).
For nine days, shoppers who purchase the $50 cards will receive a 20 percent discount at dozens of their favorite stores. All proceeds from the sale of the Partners Cards will go to the ACRC Auxiliary to fund projects that benefit ACRC patients. The auxiliary provides information, services, compassion and hope to those touched by cancer.
“The ACRC Auxiliary Partners Card is great for shoppers and for retailers,” said Kenan Keyes, Partners Card chairman. “Shoppers who have purchased a card receive a 20 percent discount on a variety of items such as furniture, gifts, clothes, etc. Plus, they are supporting a great cause by helping patients receiving treatment at the Arkansas Cancer Research Center. In addition, retailers get people into their stores for early holiday shopping.”
Shoppers will be able to save on everything from the latest fashions for the whole family, to antiques, home furnishings, fresh flowers, gift items, jewelry, outdoor gear, children’s toys and lots more.
Cards go on sale Sept. 8. To purchase the ACRC Auxiliary Partners Card, or for more information, call (501) 686-8286, (501) 529-6627 or (501) 529-6628. Cards may also be purchased in room 150 on the first floor of the ACRC. Many participating retailers also will be selling the Partners Card in their stores during the month of October. These stores are identified in the attached list. ACRC Partners Cards are Available in Little Rock and North Little Rock.
