AUG. 25, 2003 | Delta Dental recently presented $30,000 to the Department of Dental Hygiene in the College of Health Related Professions.

Herman E. Hurd, D.D.S., vice president and dental director for Delta Dental, presented the gift to Virginia Goral, R.D.H., Ph.D., chairwoman of the department.

The department will use the gift for new equipment for its teaching and community service activities, including screenings and treatment for children through the Share America program.
