AUG. 8, 2003 | V. Suzanne Klimberg, M.D., and
Ronda Henry-Tillman, M.D., of the Arkansas
Cancer Research Center (ACRC) at
the University of Arkansas for Medical
Sciences (UAMS) will co-sponsor a
symposium on breast cancer Aug. 22-23 in
Little Rock.
Kent Westbrook, M.D., a co-founder of the
ACRC and professor of surgery in the UAMS
College of Medicine, will speak on the
history of breast cancer at a dinner Aug
.22.
Edith A. Perez, M.D., director of the
breast cancer program at the Mayo Clinic,
will be the keynote speaker at the
symposium, the second statewide conference
on breast cancer.
