attending a class via interactive television hook-ups,
participants receive the quarterly newsletter, which contains
information on medical news, prescriptions, health screenings and
prevention. Each newsletter also contains a list of upcoming
classes and hometown highlights from affiliated hospitals and
clinics.
"The mission of the Rural
Hospital Program is to strengthen hospitals by sharing resources
available at UAMS," Ann Bynum, Ed.D., director of the Rural
Hospital Program, said.
