JUNE
6, 2002 | Astrofit was a hit with the audience at
a book signing at the Donald W. Reynolds Center on Aging
last week.
William J. Evans, Ph.D., a professor in the Donald W.
Reynolds Department of Geriatrics in the UAMS College of
Medicine, autographed copies of Astrofit (Simon
and Schuster, 2002) May 29. in the Donald
W. Reynolds Center on Aging. He also gave a lecture
in Jo Ellen Ford Auditorium at the center.
Dr. Evans is director of the Nutrition, Exercise and
Metabolism Laboratory at the center. In Astrofit,
he describes a health and fitness program, used by
astronauts to reverse the effects of space travel, which
is ideal for senior citizens and younger persons.
Copies of Astrofit are available at local
bookstores for $25.59 (including tax).
