Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) today.
Safe Foods is among the first nine spin-offs of
Arkansas BioVentures, a UAMS program which provides

delivered the payment of $25,000 to UAMS Chancellor I.
Dodd Wilson, M.D., and Timothy O’Brien, M.D.,

Safe Foods company markets Cecure™, a product that
eliminates food-borne bacteria from poultry, fish,
meats, fruits, and vegetables.
”Years of innovative research involving scientists
at UAMS support the success of Safe Foods
Corporation,” UAMS Chancellor I. Dodd Wilson, M.D.,
commented last week. “We are so pleased that the
company has progressed to this point.
”We
foresee medical and biotechnology research at UAMS
leading to many scientific advances that will be
licensed to new companies here in Arkansas. This will
create employment opportunities for Arkansans and
opportunities for entrepreneurs to create great new
businesses in our state. Through Arkansas BioVentures,
UAMS will play a greater role in the state’s
economy,” Chancellor Wilson said.
