Care Ranks High with U.S.
News
JULY 19, 2001 | The magazine U.S. News and World Report recently ranked University
Hospital at the University of Arkansas for
Medical Sciences the 28th best cancer hospital in
the nation.
UAMS ranked ahead
of hospitals in Denver, Tucson, New Haven, Conn.,
New York, San Francisco, and at the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill, among others. The Arkansas Cancer Research Center is the cancer treatment
facility at UAMS.
The report,
"America's Best Hospitals," appeared in
the July 13 issue of U.S. News & World
