Dean X. Parmelee, M.D.

This presentation will review the development of TBL as an educational strategy and its current applications in health sciences education.  Since health science education, at all levels in several disciplines, is becoming 'competency-based,' using TBL in the core curricula is a valuable way to help learners develop critical thinking and teamwork collaboration skills.
