About Teaching Scholars
|
The Teaching Scholars program seeks to improve the
teaching skills of faculty in the five health professions colleges
and to nurture the development of a group of faculty who actively
engage in the scholarship of teaching. The program is entering its
twelfth year. The 2007-2008 program will be held at the Southwest
Area Health Education Center in Texarkana. The 2006-2007 class has
begun work on their literature reviews. They focus on pharmacy
preceptor requirements, a caregiver’s
experience of providing care to a terminally ill family member at
home, a geriatric patient satisfaction survey, morning report, and
teaching rheumatology to undergraduate medical students, |
