The Office of the Supply Chain provides direction for centralized purchasing, shipping and receiving, distribution services, hospital materials, and Central Sterile Supply. The Supply Chain area consists of the administrative offices of David Ripa, Assistant Vice Chancellor/Supply Chain, and the departments listed above. These departments form the comprehensive supply chain support for University Hospital and the UAMS Campus. Continuing programs involved in improving customer service include automation of the procurement process, supply chain optimization, hospital supply contract management, and an off-site distribution facility.
