Academic Challenge Scholarship

High School Students

Must meet one of the following:

• Graduated from an AR public high school and successfully completed the Smart Core AND
  • Achieved a 2.50 high school GPA OR
  • 19+ ACT or equivalent
• Graduated from an AR public high school before the 2013-2014 academic year and did not complete Smart Core, but has earned a 2.50+ high school GPA AND
  • 19+ ACT or equivalent OR
  • Scored proficient + on all state-mandated end-of-course assessments
• After December 31, 2010, students who qualify under #1 or #2 but graduated from an identified grade inflated high school must achieve a 2.50+ high school GPA AND
  • 19+ ACT or equivalent
  • Scored proficient + on all state-mandated end-of-course assessments
• Students with an identified disability who were not required to complete Smart Core, but have earned a 2.50+ high school GPA AND
  • 19+ ACT or equivalent
  • Scored proficient + on all state-mandated end-of-course assessments
• Graduated from a private, home school, or out-of-state high school and earned a 19+ ACT or equivalent
