Arkansas Workforce Improvement Grant
Annual awards vary due to availability
This need-based program is for non-traditional undergraduate Arkansas residents who have not received a bachelor degree.
Academic Challenge Scholarship
Up to $3500 per year
Governor’s Scholars Program
Up to $4000 per year
Governor’s Distinguished Scholarship
Up to $10,000 per year
These three programs make awards to high school seniors; funds are awarded at the beginning of the student’s first year of undergraduate study. If you have been awarded these funds at the campus you have previously attended, it is possible this award may transfer to UAMS. If you are a previous recipient of funds from one of these scholarships, we suggest you contact the Arkansas Department of Higher Education to determine eligibility for transfer of these scholarships.
