Thank you for choosing our facilities for your sequencing needs. We use an Applied Biosystems Model 3100 Genetic Analyzer and regularly achieve read lengths of 650-750 bases.

Turn Around

Typically, you should receive data within two working days of sample submission. We will run samples on a first come first served basis as rapidly as we can.

Data Delivery

You will receive two files for each sequence by e-mail. Explanation of files and how to open them: You are also entitled to chromatogram hardcopies but to save ink and paper, we only provide them on request. Please request hardcopies by replying to the e-mail in which you received your sequences. We will respond as soon as possible. Hardcopies can be picked up from a folder labeled "Printouts" on the desk (by the door, where you fill out forms) in room 504 in the Biomedical Bldg. For those of you off campus, we will be happy to mail them to you.
