- OHS has added several new training courses to our online training website. These courses include Back Safety, Ergonomics, Waste Handling and Disposal, Chemical Hygiene, and Bloodborne Pathogens training. We have also expanded access to our training to allow computers at ACH that are logged into the UAMS computer network to access our training online.

- OHS has purchased a Gem Car (Global Electric Motorcar) to use in responding to incidents and performing safety related activities in outlying buildings at UAMS. Gem cars are environmentally friendly and excellent for use around the campus. They can go upto 35 miles on a single charge (of 8 hours or less) at speeds upto 25 MPH.

- Links to the Administrative Guide and Hospital policies on "Removal, Disposal, and/or Transfer of Equipment Used with Radioactive Material" have been added to the Radiation Safety page and to the Campus Safety Manual posted on the web site.

- Compressed Gas policy added to the UAMS Campus Safety Manual On-line.

- We have begun reviewing and updating our site to come into compliance with the latest campus web site standards.
