NOTES:

1 NCRR Note:  Funding decisions and awards will be issued on or prior to September 30, 2009 for applications submitted on April 21, 2009 and on or prior to September 30, 2010 for applications submitted on July 10, 2009. The deadline for receipt of these revision applications is April 21, 2009 (up to two years of funding) or July 10, 2009 (restricted to one year of funding). Resubmissions will only be accepted if this notice is reissued beyond these two receipt dates.

2 NIA Note:  May 1, June 1 [and July 1 for Administrative], 2009 (for one or two year requests).  March 1, May 3 [and July 1 for Administrative], 2010 (for one year requests).  NIA expects to complete administrative review of applications within one month of the receipt date for the applications. Notification of award will be by September 30, 2009 for FY 2009 applications and by September 30, 2010 for FY 2010 applications.

        Note: FY 2009 supplements can be for one or two years.
               FY 2010 supplements can be for one year only.

4 NIBIB Note:  Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. It is anticipated that the number of meritorious applications will exceed the resources available. The NIBIB will stop accepting applications when all the funds budgeted for administrative supplements have been allocated.  All applications submitted before May 15, 2009, will be undergo administrative review and be considered for funding as a group. Applications submitted after this date will be considered on a rolling basis and pending the availability of funds.

5 NICHD Note: The NICHD must receive requests for Administrative Supplements Providing Summer Research Experiences for Students and Science Educators at least one month before the requested start date of the summer research experience and no later than June 1 , 2009, for Fiscal Year 2009 consideration. The NICHD may consider requests received after that date for possible funding in Fiscal Year 2010.

6 NIDDK Note:  To be considered for funding in FY2009, applications must be received by 5PM, EST, April 17, 2009. Applications received after that time and before 5PM, EST, July 17, 2009 will be considered for funding either in FY2009 or FY2010. It is anticipated that additional receipt dates may be added in the future for applications to be considered for funding in FY2010.
 

7 NIEHS Note: The receipt dates for these requests are as follows:

• Research Grants: May 11, 2009
• Centers: May 13, 2009
• Career Development Awards: May 15, 2009.

Other receipts for FY 2010 will be announced later.

8 NINDS Note:  To be considered for funding in FY2009, applications must be received by 5PM, EDT, May 1, 2009. Applications received after that time and before 5PM, EDT, July 1, 2009 will be considered for funding either in FY2009 or FY2010. Depending on availability of funds, it is anticipated that additional receipt dates may be added for applications to be considered for FY 2010 funding.

9 NLM Note:  Applications will be reviewed and selected for funding at the end of each month. To have your application included in the monthly review, it must reach NLM by the 15th day of the month. NLM's final receipt date is May 15, 2010.
