Physical and Occupational Therapy offer a wide range of benefits to your
patient population. The focus of treatment is though a variety of methods.
these range from patient/family education, modalities to decrease and
control symptoms, fabrication and /or use of assistive devices, therapeutic
exercise to increase functional strength and ability, and home programs
intended to promote continued gains.
The outpatient rehabilitation therapy program at UAMS is a
multidisciplinary unit comprised of occupational therapy, physical therapy,
and speech-language pathology. We offer a wide-range of therapy services to
meet the needs of a variety of patients with all types of diagnoses.
