Peds plain film, ultrasound A 5 week old infant presented to the radiology for an UGI series with h/o vomiting one of which was projectile and non-bilious. The infant was in no distress and there were no signs of dehydration or hypochloremic alkalosis. The clinical exam was negative for any palpable masses in the abdomen. Clinically, we were asked to exclude GER and /or malrotation.
Initially an UGI series was performed. This was followed next day with an US.
