Dr. Ferris
is a past-president of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).
The mission of the RSNA is to promote and develop the highest standards of
radiology and related sciences through education and research.
The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) awarded its prestigious
Gold Medal to
Dr. Ferris
in 2001. The Gold Medal is the highest honor of the Society and is
awarded annually by the Board of Directors to those persons who, in the
judgment of the Board of Directors, have rendered unusual services to the
science of radiology.
Dr. Klein and Ms. Rose
received the 2003 "Residency Program Director & Coordinator" award
from the UAMS College of Medicine.
Dr. Seibert
is a past-president of the Society of Pediatric Radiology (SPR).
Dr. Teresita Angtuaco
is past-president of American Association for Women Radiologists (AAWR), an
association that provides a forum for issues unique to women in radiology,
radiation oncology and related professions, sponsors programs that promote
opportunities for women, and facilitates networking among members and other
professionals.
Dr. Teresita Angtuaco
received the 2001-02 Outstanding Woman Faculty Award. This award was
created to honor a woman faculty member for leadership, mentoring,
scholarship and achievement. We particularly want to acknowledge and
reward the task and gift of mentoring junior faculty and students at all
levels because it is such a vital and necessary function to ensure faculty
success and productivity in business and academia.
