 Research Opportunities

Scholarly activity is encouraged by the Department of Radiology.  Research activity, paper presentation, and publication are strongly research encouraged.  Presentation of proposed or on-going research projects occurs at departmental Journal/Research Club meetings which are held bi-monthly, as well as at national and regional radiology meetings.

Time and facilities for research activities are provided for those residents who are interested.  Many of the teaching staff are available to work with residents on research ideas of their own, or they may invite residents to participate in their on-going research.

The resident is given financial resources to attend meetings and additional funds when the resident presents papers for conferences.
