Neuroradiology Cases of the Day

Case 1
History: 17-year-old African-American female twelve hours status post-caesarian section complains of partial loss of vision, headache, and photophobia.
Axial FLAIR (10002/175/2000). Axial SE (4000/100). Axial Diffusion-Weighted Image (10000/115). Axial ADC Map. Sagittal SE (367/8).

Case 2
History: 47-year-old male with a recent history of minor trauma to the head underwent a head CT for evaluation of subsequent dizziness and nausea. The patient, otherwise, is neurologically intact without localizing signs or symptoms.

Case 3
History: 44-year-old male presented with progressive dizziness, disequilibrium, and visual loss.
Sagittal SE (400/9). Axial SE (4700/105). Axial SE (400/9). Gadolinium-enhanced axial SE (450/8). Coronal SE (4700/105). Gadolinium-enhanced coronal SE (450/8). Axial and coronal CT scans.  Marked expansion of the right greater wing of the sphenoid with a characteristic "groundglass" bony matrix was noted. Axial and coronal CT scans. Case 4
History: 24-year-old female with no significant past medical history presents with 6-month progression of lower extremity weakness, difficulty ambulating, and numbness and weakness in the left upper extremity.
Mid sagittal SE (350/9). Mid sagittal SE (4700/86). Mid sagittal post-gadolinium (467/9). Axial SE (550/9). Axial SE (6250/91). Axial post-gadolinium SE (700/8). Early phase dynamic MRA. Later phase dynamic MRA.

Case 5
History: 9-year-old female presented with long-standing seizures refractory to treatment.
