PGY stands for "post-graduate year" and refers to the years after completion of medical school. Thus, the internship is PGY-1, and the first year of residency is PGY-2.

Stipends 2010-11

  • PGY-1 $ 46,263
  • PGY-2 $ 47,571
  • PGY-3 $ 49,139
  • PGY-4 $ 50,445
  • PGY-5 $ 52,275

  • Three weeks paid vacation each year
