Terri Miller, PhD Child & Adolescent Psychologist
Terri Miller, Ph.D.,
is an assistant professor in the Division of Pediatric Psychiatry at UAMS. She
received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Kentucky. She
is a member of the American Psychological Association and the American Public
Health Association.
From 1999-2001, Dr.
Miller was an NIMH Postdoctoral Fellow in Mental Health Services Research at
the Centers for Mental Healthcare Research, a division of the Department of
Psychiatry at UAMS. Prior to that, she completed postdoctoral training in epidemiological
research and psychological assessment in the Department of Psychiatry at the
University of Chicago. She is a member of the Children's Mental Health Work
Group, Children and Youth Subcommittee (House Interim Committee on Aging and
Legislative Affairs, Arkansas General Assembly), and serves as a consultant
to the NIMH Constituency Outreach and Education Program (NAMI-Arkansas, Outreach
Partner) and to Joseph Pfeifer Kiwanis Camp.
Dr. Miller has published and presented
within the field of child & adolescent mental health. Past topics have included
psychiatric epidemiology, service utilization, quality of care, and cultural
variations in mental health. Clinical interests include psychological assessment
of school-age children and adolescents.
