Nancy Harris, LCSW Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Nancy Harris, LCSW,
is a clinical instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at UAMS. She provides
psychotherapy services for older teens and adults in the Programs for Adults
at UAMS. Her clinical practice is available to individuals, couples, and families.
She also provides a series of group educational workshops in couple communication
and stress management.
Prior to joining the
UAMS Programs for Adults, Nancy was a consultant and account manager at the
UAMS - Arkansas Employee Assistance Program. There she provided statewide counseling
and referral services to employees and their families in mental health, substance
abuse, relationship and work issues. Nancy has clinical experience in both inpatient
and outpatient treatment settings.
Nancy received her Master of Social Work
degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and her Bachelor of Science
degree from the University of Memphis. She is trained in Critical Incident Stress
Management and has provided this service in professional and community situations.
