Alan J.
Budney has been with the Center for Addiction Research since 2005, where he is a
Professor of Psychiatry and a Research Scientist in the Center for Addiction
Research. He is the Principal Investigator of two NIDA-funded research grants:
Behavioral Treatment of Adolescent Marijuana Abuse and Clinical Significance of
Marijuana Withdrawal. His research interests includes development of innovative
behavioral treatments for dependence on marijuana, cocaine and other substances,
in adults and adolescents, and human laboratory investigations of behavioral and
neurobiological mechanisms underlying substance abuse.
