Robert M. Jarvis, MD Robert M. Jarvis, MD, is an instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at UAMS. He maintains a practice at the Programs for Adults in the Blandford Physician's Center. Dr. Jarvis received his MD degree from UAMS and completed the psychiatry residency there, serving as Chief Resident during his last year of residency. He is interested in mood disorders including bipolar disorder and major depression, and specializes in management of treatment resistant and treatment refractory depression. Dr. Jarvis is trained in treating psychiatric disorders with electroconvulsive therapy, or ECT, and has recently begun providing this service at UAMS. UAMS Department of Psychiatry |
