Education and Training Unit (ETU) Overview The ETU has been developed to 1) collaboratively define, develop and present workshops based on needs identified by Mid-Delta Community Consortium's (MDCC) Arkansas Delta Regional Development Network (ADRDN) coalitions and other community-based health coalitions; 2) collaboratively define core Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) competencies for students, practitioners, community partners, and "grass-roots" community residents, revising the educational/training/mentoring programs as appropriate for these audiences; and 3) develop a variety of mechanisms to provide technical assistance and mentoring of CBPR methods for all ARPRC audiences.
