How often are the data sources updated? All data sources are updated once new information becomes available from the data source. Usually up to 4 weeks once the information becomes available.
What internet browers work best for the PHACS website? PHACS works well in all web browsers. Printing images works best in Google Chrome at this time.
My maps print very small in Internet Explorer. How can I make them larger? This seems to be a bug in Adobe Flash 10.1,53,64. All flash images are printed small. Adobe is aware of the problem and should be addressing the issue soon. As a workaround, try printing images from the Google Chrome internet browser.
My maps will not print in Mozilla Firefox or Apple Safari. What can I do? Flash images do not print in Firefox or Safari. We are currently looking into any fixes for this issue.
I recieve a warning message when I try to export to Excel that says "The file you are trying to open, 'XXX.xls" is in a different format than specified by the file extension. Verify that the file is not corrupted and is from a trusted source before opening the file.". Is the file safe to open? This is a security warning from Microsoft Excel 2007. The file is in an html format and is exported to Excel, which triggers Excel to ask if you want to open the file. It is safe to open. For more information, visit:
