Center for Effective Parenting (CEP)

The Center for Effective Parenting (CEP), is a collaborative Program of the Jones Center for Families, the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and Arkansas Children's Hospital. The mission of the Center is to positively impact children through a focus on improving parenting skills, The Center focuses its efforts in the area of service, training and research utilizing a multi-targeting method to broadly disseminate information, support and training activities. The Center attempts to incorporate innovative approaches, emerging technologies, as well as traditional approaches to parenting education. The Center is a recipient of a four-year U.S. Department of Education Parental Assistance Center Grant, which supports the center's education objectives.

The Center for Effective Parenting (CEP) provides services with staff based at the center’s two facilities. These facilities are located at the Jones Center for Families in Springdale and on the Arkansas Children’s Hospital campus in Little Rock.
