The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Department of
Pediatrics, is seeking a Pediatric Allergist/Immunologist. A position is
available for full time faculty at the level of Assistant or Associate
Professor in a Clinical Educator tenure track position. An M.D. degree and
board eligibility/board certification is required. This position is
available immediately, but the starting date is negotiable.
The Pediatric Allergy and Immunology Program currently includes 3
full-time and 1 part-time clinical faculty with 2 basic science faculty
members and a mission for excellence in clinical care, comprehensive
education programs, and state-of-the-art research. Research opportunities
include: applied and basic research in asthma/respiratory disease, clinical
research in primary immunodeficiency disease, food allergy, and pediatric
pharmacology trials through industry and the NIH funded Pediatric
Pharmacology Research Unit.
The UAMS Department of Pediatrics employs over 200 faculty members and
over 80
