Clinical Interests

Management of Children with growth disorders, thyroid disease, adrenal disease, intersex, pubertal disturbances, and other endocrine disorders; Management of Children with Type 1 Diabetes.

Research Interests

The effects of insulin-like growth factors on bone development. Extracellular processing and release of matrix-bound and carrier protein-bound growth factors. Matrix molecules involved in the pathogenesis of Turner's syndrome. Effects of growth hormone on osteogenesis. Effects of matrix-degrading proteases in the etiology of diabetic nephropathy.
