Smoking Cessation

In the U.S., tobacco causes nearly 1 in 5 deaths, killing more than 440,000 Americans each year. Smoking is the single most preventable cause of death today.

As of July 4, 2004 the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is smoke free. It’s never too late to stop smoking. The sooner you quit, the more you can reduce your chances of getting cancer and other diseases.

The SOS Quitline offers convenient and easy to access resources to help you quit and stay quit.
